Too little time

Hoi An was not really on my plans, I thought to spend 2 nights in Hue and may be one day on a close beach, but before my trip and, above all while I was in Vietnam, everybody kept saying to me how magic Hoi An was, so as it was so close to Hue I said: why not?

As soon as I arrived in Hoi An, I got amazed by that place, I did not see anything yet, but coming from the still busy Hue and knowing I was finally on the coast, I felt happy and relaxed, it was also the last town I visited before starting going back to Hanoi and then flying back to Italy, so I looked like someone who finally reached his final destination.

It was my final destination, so I did not really want to run after all the attractions mentioned by lonely planet(specially after the crowd I found in every LP place in Hue), I just wandered around the harbour, the bridge and the marketto see, breath, taste this magic place.

  • Cons:Many new hotels wich might mean many toursits
  • In a nutshell:I want to go back!

    Fine photos! I don't really remember much about Hoi An, but I was just there for a couple hours in 1995.

    I didn't have enought time in Hoi An either. I think that other bridge in your picture is the footbridge to An Hoi Islet.
