The more I travel the more I love my New York. The tragedy of Sep. 11 is still so shocking that it turns your hold world inside out. Who and why would someone hate so much as to take out their aggression on innocent lives. It is a very emotional experience in the city right now to see people from all nations and religions holding together. This photo is from the park in Union square. It came to be the focal point of those who were mourning. It was a scene of strength, compasion and open forums on how people felt about war and terrorism. It made you proud to be a New Yorker,to see all matter of people mixing and peacefully banding together. There are those who call for peace, those for an eye for an eye, those going about everyday life. Yet all staying peaceful hoping for justice. The city is a huge melting pot of culture. Each time I walk down the street I hear different languages spoken, reataurants from every nation , and taxi drivers with turbans. It use to seem like the one place everyone could co-exist. But life goes on , and N.Y. is still the greatest city in the world.
