What city is complete without an Irish Theme Pub?

Favorite Dish: Every day they have $5 meals here. Steak & Mash, Chicken Schnitzel, Vege Pasta or Fish & Chips. It's right in the backpacker area, so it's a good price. And they pour a good guinness.

There are other things on the menu, by the way.

Darling Harbour / Cockle Bay Restaurants: Cockle Bay pubs and Restaurants

Darling harbour, Cockle Bay, and King St Wharf have plenty of restaurants and bars.
There are heaps to chose from, and all kinds of lush cuisine. It isn't a cheap place though.

Pontoon, near Pyrmont Bridge, isn't really a cheap place to drink, but they have a bbq grill with everything on the menu coming in at under $10. The location is spot on, and it pumps at night.

Favorite Dish: The whole menu, all 6 or so items, rocks!
The usual bar food, burgers, steak sandwiches, and grilled vege burgers. All with chips.

Hi again Peter. Good down to earth dining advice about clubs. Very helpful to many travellers & there they also get to see a slice of average Australian daily life.
