Restaurant Name: scruffy murphy's
What city is complete without an Irish Theme Pub?
Favorite Dish: Every day they have $5 meals here. Steak & Mash, Chicken Schnitzel, Vege Pasta or Fish & Chips. It's right in the backpacker area, so it's a good price. And they pour a good guinness. There are other things on the menu, by the way.

Restaurant Name: Pontoon
Darling harbour, Cockle Bay, and King St Wharf have plenty of restaurants and bars. There are heaps to chose from, and all kinds of lush cuisine. It isn't a cheap place though. Pontoon, near Pyrmont Bridge, isn't really a cheap place to drink, but they have a bbq grill with everything on the menu coming in at under $10. The location is spot on, and it pumps at night.
Favorite Dish: The whole menu, all 6 or so items, rocks! The usual bar food, burgers, steak sandwiches, and grilled vege burgers. All with chips.
