I spent a bit more than 1 week in Ecuador. The highlight of it have been the friendliness of the ecuadorians!
Most people will go to Ecuador for the great Volcanoes to climb, or the Galapagos Islands.
For myself I just land there, spent few days in Quito, then went south to Peru, and coming back spent few days in Cuenca.
Herebye, the observatory, within the Alameda Park.
