Wow, what a place. Beijing is not just your typical huge city. It has plenty for the traveller to visit and buy. A week here is going to be fairly well packed, even if you want to see just the main sights. From the Forbidden City, Tienamen Square, Summer Palace and Heavenly Gate to the Pearl and Silk markets, you will be walking your feet off. Then there's the Great Wall to contemplate.
