The hostel is basic but provides a good base in which to trek in the National Park. It is walking distance to the park ticket office, and the walk can be quicker than the car over the 2km stretch when the queues are bad. The hostel is also only a 15min bus ride (700 Korean Won) from Sokcho city, with a bus leaving approx. every 10 to 15 mins between 05:30 to 21:30.

Directions: The information booth outside the bus station in Sokcho should be able to provide maps and info on how to get there. They were very helpful, like all of the Korean information offices.
