A stop along the way

by jessicadf - last update: Sep 9, 2004

A good place to rest

On a long drive from Novato, California to Abbotsford, BC, this seemed to be a good place to stop for the night. It was 10:30pm, we'd been driving for 6 1/2 hours, and the bright lights of the hotel and restaurant grabbed our attention. We were sucked in.

All in all? It was a good experience and I'd recommend it as a rest stop to anyone.
Magic mushrooms?

Magic mushroom gifts?

The sculptures do make you wonder...

Sutherlin? You've been to Sutherlin? Wow! They were in my HS league and I come from a very small town. Well done page Jessica.

The mushrooms portrayed are similar to the kind that would take you for a trip for which you would need to block out approxiamtely three days for ;-\

Ha! Just today we were talking about a co-worker who collected mushrooms! (dunno what kind, but hey!) ;-) I must tell him about this "magic" joint! Doesn't Sutherlin sound like the perfect setting for a David Lynch flick?
