This woman was perched, seemingly happily, on the fountain in front of Lincoln Center, reading her New York Times. Seems like an excellent way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Tamir took this photo, knowing it'd make a great shot. He was right!

If you have the chance to go to someone's birthday party, you should go. Heck, if you have a chance to go to any party, go. At this particular party, there was a theme of "jungle room", and the place was decorated with flowers, vines, tiki torches and the like. The guests dressed, generally, for the jungle and fun was had by all. I found myself surrounded by writers, directors, photographers, makeup artists, models, actors and entrepeneurs. A very New York Experience.
