| | Hoo hoo hoo! A last minute trip for a quick weekend stay. A great hotel room for cheap (yay Priceline!) and I'd forgotten just how uncommonly friendly the Floridians are.
We'd planned on playing at the theme parks on our full day here (yes, I'm writing this while we're here)... But we slept in, blissfully, because it was raining. Turned on the TV to check out the morning news and HUZZAH!! Hussein's been captured!
A very good trip, indeed.
More to follow. |

| | Floridians are really nice folks It had been so long since I last visited there, I'd forgotten about that aspect. At Joe's Crab Shack, I was reminded of this by our server and several other servers there. Plus they dance. ;-) |

| Pros: | "Friendly people, soft air, great skies" | | Cons: | "Eerily clean and fake surroundings... Stepford wives, perhaps?" | | In A Nutshell: | "Fun to just get away for a bit. If you like amusement parks, then go SOON!" |

sarahjayn Mon Jun 13, 2005 00:24 UTC orlando is the new stepford, you know . . . just look at celebration! i like you page - especially the waffle house bit. my friends and i dried out there after a very confusing bender in orlando. | Cruefan Sun Apr 3, 2005 20:54 UTC The " It's a small world" ride at Disney could make this page too. After going on that ride I felt like a victim of the Spanish Inquisition. The T-shirt shops you talk about are also in Key West . | Carnation Thu Sep 2, 2004 08:19 UTC Looks like you had a fun time - Kennedy Space Center is well worth a visit! :o) | Ivan_Jimenez Fri Jan 30, 2004 12:50 UTC Did you have Micky Mouse turning out your bed cover? |
