In October of '99, even though I've lived in California all my life, I went to Yosemite for the FIRST time. I had some relatives visiting from South Africa, and my mother and step-father were taking them on a few day trip to this beautiful national park. I, of course, went with them and thought to myself, "Why haven't I been here before? Am I crazy??"
Thankfully, I've been back a couple times now. After all, how can I avoid it? My most recent visit was for my birthday weekend, when my sweetheart took me to stay at the renowned Ahwahnee Lodge. Marvelous!!
You'll pass these meadows as you drive towards Glacier Point (they'll be on your right hand side). Worth a stop.

Real nice photos here. I went out here when I was in college and rode a bike around there. Long hills - went up over Tuolumne Meadows.
Loved looking at your waterfall pictures in Yosemite!! They are breathtaking! When is the best time to go to see them?
Is there a website on the condos where you stayed? Thanks in advance ~ trying to see if I can get some spring break time in up there!

Nice photos! When I lived in Berkeley we used to go hiking in Yosemite sometimes, but that was a long time ago. Once we camped above Vernal Falls in March (high water!) and I was astounded that a park ranger up there recognized my voice from KPFA.

Glacier Point is gorgeous--I'm sure lots of photo opportunities within that area!!
