General Tips: Sausalito Seal is Back on it's Rock

Favorite Thing: One of my favorite monuments in Sausalito is this seal statue. It's mounted atop a rock which is submerged under the bay most of the time. In one of my travelogues you'll see that it was knocked off its moorings during a storm in 2004. Locals love the statue and paid to have it cleaned up and remounted. Yayyy!

I have heard many times about Sausalito, but never really researched about it. Curiously, it reminds me a lot of my home-town on the European side of the Atlantic. |
