For our trip to South Africa, our main base was Johannesburg, where we have relatives. We stayed at our cousin's home when not at Kruger, Mahakalas or the Garden Route. In addition, we attended the wedding of one of our cousins in Johannesburg.

Hi Jess, I was brought up in Jhb and lived in CT for 7 yrs prior to coming to London... brings back GOOD memories.. thank you.

a bit different to the johannesburg we see on aus. news. looks cool though.
It was the middle of Winter when we were there -- it was *very* chilly! The Lesedi folks weren't shirtless... rather, they might have been shirtless, but they were wearing thick blankets as shawls.
Why are you wearing a warm jacket at the Lesedi cultural village?? The natives are shirtless....
