    Location: 2 mls NW of Place de la Concorde, on quiet respectable residential street; a few everyday shops, cafes and restaurants around corner. Bus stop 250 yds, Metro Porte de Champerret 350 yds.

    Exterior: Symmetrical 6-storey terraced sandstone town house (1800s). Some rooms with balcony.

    Interior: Homely and relaxing. Pleasant wooden reception; unassuming comfortably furnished lounge; intimate bar; simple breakfast room.

    Grounds: Attractive patch of lawn at rear with tiled path, trees and shrubs; surrounded by wall.

    Opinion: Simple home from home; the embodiment of a B&B. However, a long way from anywhere.
