This wasn't a real of the beaten path location. Millions of tourist must have gone up the twin towers. It gave you the best view of New York there was. Because it was at the tip of New York City you could look all around the places that where in and outside of New York. You could look to Liberty Island, Ellis Island, look back at the Empire State Building just to many to mention. Picture taken June 1998
On top of the tower Niki made a collectable coin like we would do so many times after this. The coin has turned more dark over the years, but we couldn't imagine how special this coin would be to us..

shrimp56 Tue Aug 17, 2004 11:47 UTC I enjoyed your comments on NYC -- and I hope you get back there soon:))) | MissyWQ Thu May 20, 2004 15:39 UTC Seeing the photo of the World Trade Center gives one such a vacant and sad feeling. Glad you were not at the top in 2001. | Wolverine_13 Sun Dec 21, 2003 23:33 UTC Great shots of New York City!!! It is quite the place!!! Slainte! | traveldave Mon Aug 18, 2003 15:00 UTC A nice page about NYC. It's been about 30 years since I've been there, so it's time I go back. I'll never forget that awful day, or how I felt seeing those towers fall. |
