What about Homestead | Riding a Gator in Homestead Florida (not me !) |
We visited this part of Florida when we had a hotel in Miami, the temperature was very hot that day. But that made it great to have an airboat ride.

|  | Attractions The population of Homestead is about 29,000 and it has about 30.077 square kilometers of land area. The average temperature is 75 degrees fahrenheit, located about 23 miles from Miami. Also located next to homestead is Biscayne National Park
Around homestead you can find a lot of wild life like gator's, eagles, manatees and more. It it located about ten miles west of Everglades national park. It's also ideal for fishing.

Hurricane ashore.. On August 24, 1992 Homestead was hit by Hurricane Andrew , it came ashore in Homestead after "visiting" the Bahama's. After this the building code was changed to resemble that of that on the Bahama's
