Summer time means that Naaldwijk is harder to get to and from because of all of the extra traffic trying to find an alternative way to the beaches. But in the summertime Naaldwijk does his best to be interesting for a visit to.
You can visit the yearly sailing corso (sorry no pictures) and the party week in the city center.

|  | Naaldwijk where houses are made of glass.... The name "Naaldwijk" was first used in 1198 it took till 1851 when the first town Council was installed.
Naaldwijk is now more then 800 years old.
At this time Naaldwijk consist of three villages:
Naaldwijk 1800 inhabitants
Honselersdijk 7000 inhabitants
Maasdijk. 3800 inhabitants

| Glass houses near Westerlee |
| | Naaldwijk or better the whole "Westland" is famous for it's glass houses. The building of this glass houses was to protect plant against the effects of the weather.
