    • Have you been at the Zoo lately? Toronto Zoo is massive. And fun, even if you don't usually like to go to the zoo. Bring a camera, because there are a lot of excellent photo opportunities. And plan on spending the entire day. The place is BIG.

    • Starting in Christie Pitts, and criss-crossing down to Front and Jarvist streets, the annual Santa Claus parade in Toronto is the longest in the world. Lots of fun for both the kids and the adults. Just make sure to wear warm clothes... it can get really cold...

    • Caribana is one of the highlights of summer in Toronto. It is a fantastic display of Caribbean music, costumes and (my favourite) skin. Happy faces are everywhere for the entire week of this festival, which has its climax with the annual parade of fleets.

    • Even though I have never been to China, Spadina Avenue and parts of Dundas Street West really do feel like vising China. Need anything Asian, you'll find it here! And when it comes to the restaurants, they are - you guessed it - real Chinese restaurants, not the Americanized stuff. Need roots, traditional clothing, porcelain cats, a table top Confusius, or some undubbed Hong Kong movie without subtitles... this is the place to go. Lots of cute girl here, too. :)
