Note to self... ...Next time, stay more than 2 days! There's so much I didn't see and do this time because this visit was somewhat of a stopover on the way to Nottingham. Still, it was nice to be in England, the land of my favorite band (Yes) and my favorite TV show (EastEnders)! |

"Harrods" and "Sale" in the same sentence? I'm still debating which was larger - the store's size or its prices! But, the summer sale was going on, so there were actually bargains to be had. Though I saw everything from coats to cameras to caviar, all my purchases were made in their 4th floor gift shop. You can pay with US dollars and get English pounds back. |
Hyde Park (from the bus) This is as close as I got this time, but it's surely on the list for my next visit. Hopefully the weather will be as nice then as it was that day. |

I stayed in London Kensignto Hilton Hotel on Dec. 10, 07. Rm.1078. The bathroom was very moldy. I couldn't open the bathroom door from inside. When I reported this, I was told the room was one of the best rooms on the floor. | Zarasher Sun Sep 2, 2007 09:16 UTC
