I think I was most surprised and impressed by South Africa's landscape. We travelled only through the eastern part of the country, but the difference in scenery was great: dune-like landscapes, tropical forests, mountains and even canyons.

Another aspect of South Africa that is interesting, is the great variety of wildlife. Many of the world's most spectacular animals can be found here in the wild. You can find them in one of the many game reserves, of which Kruger Park is the most famous one
