Restaurant Name: Espai Sucre
This small restaurant, that was featured in the NY Times, serves only desserts. You can choose between a 3- and 5-course meal. Regarless of your choice, you will get a little surprise dish from the chef with your pre-dinner drinks and some delicious petit fours afterwards. The desserts surprise with daring flavor and texture combinations. Some of the dessers are finished while you watch from your seat and are always accompanied by a explanation in Spanish or Catalan by the waiter/waitress. (picture from www.apicius.es)

tyerks Thu Oct 16, 2003 23:24 UTC You're right about the Catalan language, it is more like French, which is very confusing if Barcelona is your first stop in Spain and you speak Spanish, but not French! That happened to me! Nice page. | nicoleken Mon May 19, 2003 18:01 UTC Barcelona is a very nice city, with lots of beautiful places ! Graet pages and very nice pictures and information. | alberrrt Mon May 5, 2003 15:25 UTC Nice picture (the main one with the heart). It seems that Barcelona inspires you... | ymike2000 Fri Apr 4, 2003 14:32 UTC Thanks for the great tips. Can't wait to visit. Hope you're having a happy birthday! |
