After several years of Latin and after having heard many stories, myths & sagas about the Roman Empire, we finally got to see Rome in 1997. We went there with school. This was great, because many amazing cultural trips were planned for us. We got to see Piazza Navona with Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers, St.Peter's Square, the Spanish Steps, Ostia, the Catacombes, the Trevi fountain, Forum Romanum, the river Tiber, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill and much more. I have never been back since, but Rome tops my 'want to go there badly'-list.
I lost my roll of film, so this is my only page for which I took photographs from the Internet. Hopefully in the future I can replace them with my own :D |
