"Wonderful Beaches in Galicia" Ferrol by Tami_G

Ferrol is a small town near A Coruna which isn't specially pretty. But the outskirts are gorgeous. Ferrol is surrounded by some of the best beaches I have ever seen.
A very nice beach is the one in Doninos. Doninos is a small village where many people spend their summer and apart from the beach there's a beautiful lake.

Surf in Doniños

Many people come to Doninos to practice surf, body board, and windsurf. The waves can get quite big and the currents are strong.
I took this picture on a very calm day, there were hardly any waves but still some people gave it a try!

The lake in Doninos is very close to the beach. The area surrounding the lake is great for walking, specially if you like being in a very natural setting.
