Getaway from the busy life of Gold Coast. About an hour by 4WD from Gold Coast discover Australia’s
hinterland vast breathtaking mountain peaks and national parks – the areas of Tamborine Mountain, wilderness of Lamington National Park and areas of Mount Barney and Mount Lindesay. Along the way to the mountain you will see lovely quaint rural town and villages. Our guide, Tim (a Tasmanian devil ;) made several stops where we could take shot of various landscapes, plants, as we made our trip up the mountain. More personal pictures on my hinterland escapade is on my travelogue as we visited and pictured the 100 years old township of Canungra, more breathtaking views of mountain peaks, visit to the O’Reillys Mountain Resort and some funtime feeding the birds as we continued afterwards for our journey to the wilderness trek in the rainforest.
.
Fondest memory: As we rode deeper into the rainforest, we spotted wild wallabies, squirrels and kangaroos in this forest wilderness. So exciting as compared to our few earlier encounter with these animals and they are all caged up.

Don’t forget to visit this outback hinterland adventure on my travelogue
