The Best Beer in the World Okay, so I lied. Not about the beer, but about Kreuzberg. The one recognized by VT is an actual city, and I'm actually referring to a monastery outside of a city. Yes, it would be easier to make a page for the city (Wildflecken), but most people know the monastery by it's name (Kloster Kreuzberg). And thus, my little lie.
If you want to get to the Kloster Kreuzberg, take Autobahn 7 towards Wildflecken. Take the exit for B279, and continue following the Wildflecken signs. The closer you get to the city, you'll see brown signs pointing the direction to Kloster Kreuzberg. |
| | And now, about that beer.... The Kloster Kruezberg is a neat place to hang out. It is run by, of course, monks, who happen to be the very best at brewing a very good beer. I will not lie when I say it is the best beer I've ever had, and I don't think I'm alone in that. The monks also raise dogs...St. Bernards, I believe. Anyway, more about that beer! It is a dark beer with a light taste, and is available for purchase by the mug, bottle, and keg. |
| | And if you're a hungry traveler... ...they offer food, too. The entire place is stocked with tables for you to sit out and enjoy the fantastic scenery, or you can sit inside if the weather turns foul. Not only that, but food is available. Great food, at that. It is served cafeteria-style, and there are also a few kiosks that sell food too. |
