    • The hotel belongs to an association who takes care of unmarried mothers.
    Cheep and really nice atmosphere. Good simple food.

    Unique Qualities: Very friendly place, where are sometimes organized small concerts, dance shows, theatre plays, exhibitions…

    • The most expensive hotel in Mopti. Big modern “occidental” hotel. Good bedrooms with bathroom, toilets and TV (sometimes working!).

    A good place for a few days after a long trek in the Dogon country or in the desert. Recover and then, go to the “Doux Rèves” and its more local atmosphere…

    Unique Qualities: Visa cards welcome.
    Swimming pool.
    Restaurant correct but much too expensive in comparison of what you can find in the city…

    • Rooms are clean but a bit dark and sad…
    Basic equipment.
    Good food.
    Very cheep.

    Unique Qualities: Good place for quiet beer and dinner in the evening.

    One difficult thing in Mopti is when you want to call your family by phone: there are many private phone boxes in the city but they are too noisy, don't work very well and are sometimes too expensive. You will find a good one on the camp premises (see pic). The lady is very friendly and helpful. Also a rather efficient "Internet-café" in the Camp.
