Mopti is a city that won’t let you indifferent: you love it or hate it. I loved it. Really. |
|  | "Avenue de l’Indépendance" : a large street along the Bani River. It leads to the hospital and the Hotel Kanaga. The big trees are “cailcédrats”, a kind of mahogany tree.
Three main spots in Mopti:
the old city, its mosque and its women’s market;
the port and its fabulous atmosphere;
the Bani and Niger Rivers. |
