    • Nothing really special... Large rooms with bathroom and toilets. Old, simple, clean.
    Several other hotels in Timbuktu, some of them very expensive.

    Unique Qualities: Well situated in the main street.
    Pleasant terrace at first floor.

     We spent three days on a pinasse from Mopti to Timbuktu - uncomfortable and boring but an almost life-changing experience. Sleeping under the stars at night on the river bank, waking to find a hippo close by....
