The "Citadelle souterraine" (underground citadel)

Interresting "trip" with a small "train" in the undergrounds of the city.
Here was the French Headquarter during the battle of Verdun (1916), but also quarters for the troups going to the front line, a military hospital and a refuge for Verdun's inhabitants during bombings.
In 1920, the "Soldat Inconnu" ("Unknown Soldier") who is burried under Paris' "Arc de Triomphe" was chosen here.

Musée de la Princerie

In an ancient building of XVI th century which was partially rebuilt after WWI.
Local history and sculpture (you can find here the statue of a Roman Goddesse which had been found in Othe's Roman well), very nice collection of faiences from Les Islettes (a famous French faience factory in the ancient times...), paintings.
