During our visit to Queensland we stayed in a little village called Palm Cove. It's a half hour drive from Cairns but that's no punishment if you can enjoy a ride in the Sunbus (local buscompany). Palm Cove is like a polinesian island but with the possibility of making faboulous trips to the inland Tablemountains, Daintree rainforest and of course the Great Barrier Reef. In Palm Cove is not much of a night life but it is perfect for relaxing. We stayed at the Clarion Resort and I can recommend this to everybody who visit PC. The picture is of the Milaa Milaa Falls, we went there on a trip to the tablelands. Just a day trip but we enjoyed it very much. Went to Lake Barraine (is it written like this?), swimming in a beautiful Billabong and saw dozens of spectacular falls. Also visited a old castle in the forest (forgot the name but will add it as soon as I find it again). More to come on this subject soon. |
| | Daintree Rain Forest I will add a short comment of our incredible trip to the daintree rainforest asap ont this site. |
