Hi all. My mottos are "Knowledge is the key to greatness", and "Make everyday count - carpe diem". Thanks for visiting my VT page. I accidentally deleted my previous Welcome page when moving onto this whole make-over of VT and here is the page with as much detail as I can recall.
My travel motto is quite simple; do what Romans do when in Rome. Nothing is more enjoyable and invaluable than experience what the destination offers. I absolutely averse bringing pre-conceived knowledge and ideas to the destination and still more enforce it in travelling!
Here is my Airline Watch section, which I think is very unique and something I am always passionate about updating on.
I have been on board with the following air carriers (in an alphabetical order):
Aerolineas Argentina
Air Calin (New Caledonia)
Air France
Air India
Air New Zealand
All Nippon Air (Japan)
Air Pacific (Fiji)
Ansett Australia
Austrian Airlines
Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong)
Egypt Air
Emirates
Garuda Indonesia
Japan Air Lines
JetStar Asia (Singapore)
Korean Air (South Korea)
Malaysia Airlines
Lauda Airlines (Austria)
Qantas (Australia)
Singapore Airlines
Swiss Air
Thai Airways
Tiger Airways (Singapore)
Turkish Airlines
ValuAir (Singapore)
Vietnam Airlines
Air New Zealand comes on top of my favourites; well-prepared food is great in taste and presentation wise and even though the aircraft I boarded was small there were a fair amount of monitors mounted on the ceiling. Now defunct Ansett, Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines follow Top 4. Air Calin's VERY generous serve of alcohol must be worthwhile mentioning here; cognac flows extravagantly! Every economy seat on Lauda, Malaysia Airlines, and Singapore Airlines have a tiny monitor installed on the back of every seat in front to watch movies or playing video games.
On a bad note, boarding on Egypt Air on the way to London was THE nightmare; it's deadly smoking flight, mate! Aerolineas Argentina is truly no-frill airline with virtually no in-flight entertainment! Garuda Indonesiaýs cabin crews were pretty invisible for proactive service to the passengers.
JetStar Asia has a pretty tight leg pitch. So, if you are one of the lucky ones who own long legs it might be a problem! :) Another LLC (Low Cost Carrier) ValuAir would be a better option with wider leg pitch and a provided meal.
Air France has a touch screen display on Economy (Tempo) Class.
