"'Farthest east' in Hortobagy" Hortobagy by egonwegh

Hortobagy Travel Guide: 17 reviews and 46 photos

Hortobagy is situated in the heart of the great plain or Puszta. This is where we set a - rather insignificant! - personal record, reaching our 'farthest east overland' (21.07 E).

We crossed the famous stone bridge ("Kilenc Juku hid" - Thanks, Janika!) with the nine holes and parked our car next to the inn or csarda. Then we visited the Herdsmen's Museum.

Neat images Egon. That "Stone Bridge" in Hortobagy is called: Kilenc Juku hid, meaning Nine holes Bridge. I'll be back for more.
