Being in Egypt was an overall great experience. The thrill of seeing the pyramids, temples, and hyrogliphics of ancient civilization was undescribable. These are the pyramids at Giza, just outside Cairo. We hired guides and horses to gallop through the Sahara and around this site. A great way to view Giza, but always - buyer beware. Saddles were excruciating, and guides became not as friendly when it came to tipping time!
