While by no means undiscovered, Lucca is one of the less-visited Tuscan cities. Perhaps it's because its sights are not well-known to foreign tourists. However, there's a lot to see here--beautiful churches, an unusual oval piazza, and places relating to Puccini, who was born here (I think.) Lucca can stand on its own as a charming smaller city. |
