The best time to visit Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello, is in the early spring when the flowers and gardens are just starting to come out.
.
I've been there several times, but the range and creativity of Mr. Jefferson always amazes me.

Excellent narrative on your tour of the Monticello grounds. The gardens are spectacular during the summer months. Worth another visit.

Very interesting place, indeed. Great pictures and writings. I liked some gardens there a lot and the interior of the house looked great as well:-) but they didn't allow to take any pics there :-(

A great tour of Monticello.. amazing how the servants lived in cramped conditions. I loved the idea of the wine pulley:-) What an interesting tour this must have been.

Looks like an interesting place. Going to find it on the map and see if it is somewhere on our route next week.
