General Tips: Surrounded by the Finger Lakes

Favorite Thing: Growing up in Syracuse means growing up on the fringe of the wonderful "Finger Lake" region. There are 14e of these glacially created lakes although 5 or 6 of them are the largest and most visited. . I gew up near Skaneateles -- which was an easy drive from Fayetteville. Several friends has summer houses on the lake. We would drive through the rolling farm;and, pick up some just-picked corn on the cob and preceed to spend the day in and around the lake and the grill!!! . Fondest Memory: Now that I am an adult I enjoy the Finger Lakes for the views, the sailing and the WINERIES!

Bully Hill doesn't make the best wine in the region, but their labels are gorgeous and their restaurant overlooking the lake is worth the stop!
