Home Sweet Home: Now and Then

The "then" picture isn't a fair comparison as it was taken on a gray snowy winter day:)

"Paper Mill Hill"

The street we lived on crossed the creek and then took a bend as it went around the paper mill, down a hill obviously. This is where we would sled when there was snow. It was a *bit* adventerous as the road did curve so YOU had to steer well and also hope nothing was coming up the hill *lol* This picture is of the abandoned building after you round the corner.

Old Erie Canal State Historic Park @ Cedar Bay

Technically in the Town of Dewitt, west of Fayetteville, The Cedar Bay Picnic Area provides access to the 36 miles of trails that constitute The Old Erie Canal Historical Park. This part is near the Butternut Aqueduct.
