An Escape to Mount Charleston

Mount Charleston is only a hour from Las Vegas, but it is worlds apart. The air is cooler, fresher. You are surrounded by silence and green trees instead of the constant "ka-ching" of the slots.

Hi Sally, this is the first time I ever heard of a town putting up signs telling you that there are no tourist sights there. Maybe this is the beginning of a new trend?

First time I have heard about this place. Gorgeous area, stark contrast to LV. Only one hotel? what a shame. Ah the challenge of a VT'er...haha.. Too gorgeous to be shared obviously :-)

Well Nevada is not so far away from Saskatchewan. I could think to visit it next summer.
