  • Chicago is chock-full of public sculpture from its plazas to its bridges. The most famous one is the Picasso in front of City Hall. Unveiled in 1967, it marked the transition from statues of famous people to sculpture as a modern public art form.

  • Ride the ferris wheel at Navy Pier for a great view of the city! The wheel is open 7 days a week and costs $5 for adults -- Children under 12 and seniors are $4.
    .
It is modelled after the first ferris wheel in the US -- the one deseigned and built for the 1893 World's Fair.

  • This is the river that has reversed it's flow, sprung a leak and turns green every March 17. And it is the heart of Chicago -- it carries cargo and pleasure traffic and encloses the heart of the city.

Was scrolling through your food tips, in case you didn't know Skadarlijia is closed, replaced by yet another Mexican restaurant :-( Let me know if you find another good Serbian place, Simplon also bit the dust several years ago...
