"The Playground of La Jolla" La Jolla by shrimp56

La Jolla Travel Guide: 291 reviews and 791 photos

Unfortunately during my quick visit the charms of La Jolla were a bit buried by the "marine layer". I hope to make it back someday with both more time and more sun.

Always a favorite place of mine to visit. Did you walk on the sandstone rocks near the Cove and look in the tide pools.

Back from La Jolla and San Diego and finished my pages at last. Thanks for the very good tip on the book store. Enjoyed my visit there.

Very interesting shopping tips! The Spanish architecture there looks beautiful, the flowers are amazing, I just feel the fragrance...

Sorry you got stuck with a Marine layer -- seems like half the time Alec's spent there has been plagued by that (and we all thought he'd be getting glorious beach weather!) But it was a neat place, wasn't it!
