Belgrade has a very active and varied nightlife -- among the tamer of which are the cafes. There are a number of areas where you will find large numbers in the same spot -- this picture was taken on Obiicev Venac.

One thing that is nice about a large central public area such as Trg Republike is that you can hold free public events. This was a music & dance festival for the "International Decade for a Culture of Peace". We saw them setting up earlier and just happened to walk by during the performance!
