I have just come back from a quick visit to Belgrade.
Of course I had a wonderful time!!!
From Sv. Sava to Kalimegdan to the cafes :)))

Sveti Sava

The current structure of Sv. Sava was begun in the 1930s. But there has been a church here for a much longer time than that.

Kalemegdan

The fortress structures that overlook the confluence of the Sava and Dabube rivers is impressive -- but it's also nice to see how the spaces are being used today for sports and other events.

Stahinicja Banja (where the young & trendy belgraders hang out in the evenings, in the bars & restaurants) is actually called Silicon valley becoz many of the women who come to the bars, have had their 'assets' enhanced, silicon wise!
