Ohrid and her lake - a UNESCO World Heritage site

Ohrid and her lake are the Macedonian "Riviera", especially for people from Skopje -- walk along the promenades in the evening and you are certain to see someone you know from there!

There are many cafes and eating places. The ones near the lake are, of course, more expensive.The food for which Ohrid is famous is the "Ohrid trout". It is very expensive -- watch out! It is sold by grammes, so the fish you order will cost a LOT more than what the menu said.

But hire one with more shade and less people!!!
