My husband went to Athens ....

by shrimp56 - last update: Nov 11, 2004

And all I got were these lousy pictures!!!

On the Acropolis
Actually that's not entirely true;) He did bring a nice piece of jewelry!
.
I have visited Athens twice -- once in 1962 when it was still possible to walk on the Parthenon -- and also in 1977. I don't have those pictures available so I'm using my husband's to finally say something about a wonderful city!

I, too, loved the National Archaeological Museum of Athens and its shop. As much as I love mythology, I was fascinated with your selected tips. Your husband's photographs are wonderful...you make a nice team!

I also found the archeological museum fascinating, although usually I am not into visiting the museums. Nice page!
