There are many small restaurants and cafes in the center of Brno, including a popular Asian one. The last time I was in Brno we ate at 'Three Arrows' where I had, among other things, potato dumplings that floated off the plate! I hope it's still there. There are very good wines from Czech Republic. Our favorite was the red wine called Frankovka.
