Wrought iron balconies. Crumbling tombs. The smell of incense and candles in the air. Old buildings. Strong coffee. Historical points of interest at every corner.
You arrive in NOLA curious and leave haunted-and enthralled.
This is without a doubt, my favorite place to go in America, and almost a home away from home. I haven't yet developed a "love/hate" relationship with NOLA, like I have my own home, New York City.
I wonder if I would, if I lived here?
