What a lovely surprise. I really enjoyed our visit to Valencia!

Valencia has so much going for it - too much to see in just 2 days. I wish I had allocated more time here.

What made Valencia so special was meeting MaheshSamtani....but more about that in my travelogue.

Valencia is fantastic at night! The City of Sciences has some of the most interesting architecture I have ever seen....and it is so much better with lighting a night! More about that too in my travelogue below.

In fact speaking of architecture, hubby and I just loved the beautiful buildings in Valencia. The hop on and off bus gave us our first impression, and then we just wandered around on foot after that snapping a stack of photos.

Pros:Lake Albafura, beautiful buildings, City of Sciences and more.
Cons:Not the best beach
In a nutshell:Spain's best City by far! Don't miss it!

I hadn't really thought about Valencia before, your photos are excellent, particularly the sunsets and night shots. A surprising blend of modern and ornate architecture, looks lovely!

  Heya Dee. This is the first time I have noticed your comment. Thank you sweet :o) Oh yes, hubby and I just loved Valencia. To be honest...... we didn't stay for long enough. So if you are ever thinking of visiting Spain....then you need to stick Valencia on your travel list mate!! .... Oh and catch the train to Barcelona. What a wonderful trip!! :o) Big hugs to you mate!! xx
