Trinity Beach Bar 'N Grill: Beach Bar 'N Grill

If you head off to Trinity Beach for the day, then a nice place to do lunch is at the Trinity Beach Bar 'n Grill. The view is what makes it special here.

Trinity Beach Bar 'n Grill is across the road from the beach, food is your average beachside dining fish & chips. The fish was fresh, chips quite a decent serving for the price.... so we couldn't go wrong!

Hubby & Zig ordering at the counter gave me a chance to check out the surfies!.... ;o)

Fetta's Greek Tavern: Lovely Greek Food

Fetta's took my fancy. The meal list looked yummy and the ambience inside with the Mediterranean atmosphere and nice music drew me in. When hubby arrived, I thought this restaurant would be a nice place for an romantic interlude :o)

And I wasn't wrong! We were able to do byo (bring your own grog) as well. I just loved this place and hubby did too :o)

And the pic of us together at the table with a nice bottle of byo red has a story.
Ann - TheTravelSlut bought us over three bottles of red from California. Knowing how much I loved the last lot she bought over, Ann knew I would just love some more!! ...So here we are Ann... polishing off one of your yummy reds at the Greek Restaurant in Cairns :o) ...Very nice too!! ;o)

P J O'Briens: Another Cheap Pub Meal

Now this is a cheap lunch!! $10 gets you a choice of meal - I had the ribs on one occasion and fish & chips on another - plus a drink included!

P J O'Briens is right on Hide Corner and has inside and outside eating & drinking area.

PS....it's also a good place if you want a quick pee.... Maccas (MacDonalds) is too far away! ;o) ...Shhh, don't tell them I sent you.....

Cairns Night Markets: Cheap Dinner

Zig had been here before and suggested it - The night markets for a cheap feed. Great choice Zig!!

You can have a large plate of food for under $10 here and they have everything from Asian, Indian, Japanese, Turkish through to good old roast meat & chips.

Woolshed: Cheap Pub Meal

Staying at Tropic Days Backpackers, the evening meal is included in the price. A bus comes and picks everyone up - other Backpacker places included as well, and takes us into town to the Woolshed. The Woolshed is located near Hides Corner.

Of course I discovered that the freebee meal wasn't very tasty so the next night, I opted to pay an extra $8 and got this yummy one instead! :o) Tandori bbq'd Chicken, baked potatoe with sour cream.....& salad....good stuff!!

I also noticed that the meals here are well priced and they have entertainment and cheap drinks. .....Gotta love pub meals!! :o)
