Melbourne - Colourful, vibrant and fun!!
Ahhh Melbourne!! My opinion has definately changed. Used to think the place was just 4 seasons in one day, a few markets and that was it.....but now I realise how wrong I was!! Now I think I've fallen in love with the place,...or maybe it's the people in it that have helped me to change my opinion.... :o)
...Whatever, had a wonderful vt meeting, just loved walking around and savouring the vibrant atmosphere with old and new buildings, trams, horse & carriage, arts, cafes and of course the Yarra. What more can I say. Simply, that I'll definately be back!!!......... |
| Melbourne Horse & Carriage |
|  | Walking around Melbourne I was struck with vivid images of 3 modes of transport - Tram, Taxi and Horse & Carriage.
Trams I'd never had anything to do with before, so they were totally fascinating.
Taxi's....never seen so many in my life!! ....And they are cheap!! ...well compared with Perth :o)
But my favourite were the horse and carriage. Isn't this a gorgeous pic!! :o) ....Can't wait to take Howie on a romantic horse & carriage ride next time we're in Melbourne!! |
| | Wouldn't have thought to visit Melbourne again had it not have been for a huge VT Meeting, organised by our gorgeous Anne12.
What a beautiful lady!! Anne worked hard to make a spectacular weekend for us all (about 50 vt'ers in total), a total memorable occasion!! We can't thank her enough!! What a lovely lady!!
