Another view of Belford

The other side of Belford station. Nice red seat! In fact looks pretty neat for in the middle of nowhere!! I wonder if anyone actually catches the train from here?.

Belford. Would have to be the smallest railway station I've seen!! Check it out!!!

The ferry arrives

Here it is!! The ferry is like an old barge. You drive on and there's plenty of time to get out of your car and check out the view. I definately recommend this way to the Hunter Valley.

Waiting for the ferry

The ferry takes about 15 minutes to traverse the river. It had only just left the other side and we had to wait in the line up for it to get to our side. Anyway, the view was nice.

Wisemans Ferry

If you are travelling by car from Sydney, perhaps on the way back, take a detour and go the Wisemans Ferry way. It is a lovely scenic way to go and this is the beautiful view from the ferry. It takes you across the Hawkesbury river..
