Downtown seen from Stanley Park

The coolest city in Canada

I know I should update this page a bit more. What with me being a regular visitor and life-long fan of this beautiful city I should have more to say about it. Well, I do, but unfortunately I don't have that many pictures: after the second visit I just didn't bother bringing my camera along anymore coz it felt like home :) But I'll try to be a good boy and post some more. Because after all, this corner of the world is still the coolest place to be - or is it?

Well, Canada's third largest urban centre is certainly one of the most spectacular cities on this planet. Where else can you go skiing in the morning, sailing in the afternoon, and go clubbing in the evening?

Vancouver is incredibly friendly and the proximity to soaring mountains, beautiful fjords and silver beaches make this a very attractive destination to visit and - indeed - live. Once you've been here, you want to come back and see much more; I just came back from a visit and I still feel I haven't had enough ;-)

Pros:"Friendly, clean, safe and fun!"
Cons:"Tends to be a tad chilly and damp..."
In A Nutshell:"No chance to get bored here!"

There is no #1 bus, never has been, as far as I know. Once at Richmond Centre, hop on #s 401, 402, 404, 407 or 410 heading south to get to Steveston. Don't forget to get a transfer when boarding the 98B line: http://www.StevestoniVillage.com

Hey, cool tips on Van...good to see you got out of downtown (to Lynn Valley): most just stay in the core.
